Description
Are you a data-driven storyteller with a passion for turning insights into action? We're on the hunt for a Marketing Insights Executive to join the Loqbox team, reporting to the Insight and Research Lead within the Marketing Team.
This is a dynamic role where you'll be the go-to expert, transforming data into powerful narratives that shape our marketing strategy, product development, and business decisions. As the voice of our members, you'll dive deep into research, uncover trends, and deliver insights that keep us ahead of the curve.

Your responsibilities:
- Member Advocacy & Consultation: Serve as the expert on member perspectives, advising stakeholders across teams to enhance their engagement strategies and outcomes.
- Qualitative Marketing Analysis: Provide insight and reporting on the qualitative aspects of our marketing activities, assessing the impact of daily initiatives and larger campaigns on member opinions, behaviours, and beliefs.
- Insight Generation: Use both qualitative and quantitative research methods to produce meaningful insights that drive business decisions, such as refining channel strategies, key messaging, target segments, and new product development.
- Reporting & Communication: Write comprehensive reports on insights and ensure they are effectively communicated, understood and used by all relevant stakeholders.
- Internal Advocacy: Champion the value of insights within the organisation, promoting a data-driven culture and the strategic use of member data.
- Test & Learn Approach: Lead the exploration of an internal research panel to assess its fit for Loqbox, identifying the best platform and methodology to enhance member insight.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use qualitative techniques to analyse both existing and new data sets, facilitating faster reporting and more frequent assessments of feature and platform performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the acquisition and retention teams to contextualise key metrics through a combination of qualitative and quantitative insights into member experiences.
- Cross-Data Insight Generation: Synthesise insights from various sources to enable the comparison and correlation of different data sets. Your curiosity will help us uncover connections that drive better decisions.
- Full-journey insight: Implement an insight framework within the member onboarding process, helping us learn more about our members, sooner, to personalise their experience and enhance their outcomes.
Who you are
- You have a degree in something that combines analytical thinking with creative problem solving. Something like behavioural psychology, sociology, or maybe even statistics.
- You have 2-4 years experience in a similar role at a startup: this could be marketing focused, or could be experience in a customer support role with reporting/analytics.
- You have a strong analytical mind, with experience in producing and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data sets.
- Be empathetic and obsessed with the customer (you’re keen to learn everything you can about them so that you can create amazing experiences that convert).
- You are an excellent communicator, able to take a diverse array of research outcomes and synthesise them into snappy, impactful “so what” intelligence for the wider business.
- You have experience with data analysis tools and platforms, including analytics platforms, user experience platforms, and - of course - spreadsheets.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, tackling a broad range of business questions with a variety of colleagues from different functions.
- You are curious, and enjoying asking the right questions to uncover fresh insights.
- You are keen to explore how AI can streamline and optimise research processes in a business context.
- You’re comfortable speaking directly with our members in live contexts like phone calls and messaging services.
- You’re a strong believer in Loqbox’s mission.
- Membership or subscription experience is a bonus.
